Balancing Act

I watched a couple dancing Merenge last night (Tues.) at the Savoy which inspired me to watch Merenge videos on Youtube. I found this Merenge video which also includes dancing on a bottle, reminiscent of Bellydancers dancing on glasses.

BD Vlog: 09 Tray of Fire Prep

Setting up new candles on my balancing tray. I will dance with this on my head with the candles lit at the next Greek Night. My camera battery dies at the end and I had no backup batteries. I decided to post the video anyway.

I also decided to bust out some of my pro costumes for Greek Night. I normally wear a generic bedlah with random homemade skirts and mix and match costume pieces. This is the 7yr Anniversary so I thought I'd bring it up a notch with the really nice costumes.

What do you get when a gymnast has rhythm?

Some pretty amazing B-Boys. Why this isn't an Olympic sport I don't know. I mean they are strong, flexible, have impeccable timing, and fashion. They probably wouldn't pass a drug/alcohol test... but who cares?

Dance - Tastic Tuesday: Daft Bodies

The original Daft Body ladies bust out some techno moves.
It's been a while since I've watched this. If you haven't seen it you will enjoy their ingenuity.



The men give it a go. Pretty good, although you have to wait through their inflated ego intros at the beginning.
