Graduation

I forgot to post this with the previous post. This is from my brother's graduation last month. I was unable to make it. But if I had, this is what the picture would look like.

Yea! Bellydance pics on a bellydance blog. There's a concept. Ananya and I car pooled to Global Dance Collective's 1yr. Anniversary on Saturday. I remembered to take my camera. Only about half of the pics I took came out. The rest were all blurry. The view screen on the back of my camera is going out. If you guys would just pitch in and buy me a new camera I promise I would take more BD pics.

Naima on Shimmycast

My interview for Shimmy Cast with Anala was posted yesterday on Shimmy Cast Episode #58 - Naima Interview Part 1.

I really dislike hearing my own voice. What you can't see is that we were sitting on the stage covered in sweat right after the workshop and they were setting up chairs for the show, getting closer and closer to us. I kept talking faster and faster the closer they got. The background noise gets worse to the point we start laughing. I bet that is in part 2.
