Anyone else ever decide last minute they need a new costume before their next performance?
Yeah, so Friday, after trying on the costume I wanted to wear to the workshop in Buffalo, I decided I felt too "full-figured" for it to fit right. I decided it would be a GREAT idea to work on and finish another costume. One week before. Great idea.
I lucked out and found beads at Hobby Lobby 50% off that matched the fabric I had previously bought for $1/yd at Walmart. When it is said and done, this costume will cost around $30. Don't get me wrong. It is a pretty simple costume with just enough fringe to add some snazzy-ness. But I will have something new to wear. Yea!
Come to the hafla show to see it live! The show starts at 4pm.
